Open source is proud community of developers all over the world contributing to the internet without any profit in their mind. They have also worked and improved the face of web conferencing market in the world. Today I have some spent some time testing WebHuddle, a passionately homegrown open source web conferencing and live presentation system available right now online. WebHuddle is a new, still in beta, cross-platform and fully open source web conferencing system integrating text chat, VoIP (one-to-many), PowerPoint presentation facility, live annotation and markup tools, application sharing, polling and recording in a secure environment.
The interface of this open source web conferencing system is poor, and it would really benefit from a partnership with some talented information design, however it provides all the technical features a web conferencing system must have.
